Application for plot

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT AN ALLOTMENT PLOT IS A COMMITMENT!

NEW PLOT HOLDERS NEED TO REALISE THAT THE COMMITMENT ON AN ALLOTMENT IS THAT THEY SHOULD EXPECT TO VISIT 2 – 3 TIMES A WEEK FOR AT LEAST 3 HOURS DURING THE GROWING SEASON, APRIL TO OCTOBER, MORE IF THERE ARE LOTS OF CROPS. DURING THE NON-GROWING SEASON A WEEKLY VISIT IS REQUIRED.  IF AN OVERGROWN PLOT IS TAKEN ON, THEN CONSIDERABLY MORE TIME IS REQUIRED TO CLEAR THE PLOT AT THE START!
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO COMMIT TO AN ALLOTMENT PLOT.

PLEASE DO NOT FILL IN THE APPLICATION FOR A PLOT AS WE HAVE FOR THE TIME BEING CLOSED ALL NEW ENTRIES

To put your name on our waiting list please fill the form below.

Allotment size
An allotment is traditionally measured in rods (perches or poles), an old measurement dating back to Anglo-Saxon times. 10 poles is the accepted size of an allotment, the equivalent of 250 square metres or about the size of a doubles tennis court.
